To the inhabitants of Gotham City it seems that their city is cursed and doomed to perdition in the darkness of cruelty and crime. Once a bright town became a haven of all kinds of riff-raff. Crime stands in power, and honest people are forced to play by the rules of those for whom the prison is crying. The young detective has not yet got used to the cruel town and tries to follow the rules, but this leads to bad consequences. Integrity makes him an outcast among his own and a target for bandits. Sales partner James Bullock is used to bribery and is not going to help a guy restore justice in the city. For him, Gotham City has long been dead, and since he’s stuck here, he should at least earn a decent salary.
